I did this page with the newest (and in beta) version of Krita, and didn't understand how to use the new text tool very well, so I couldn't make certain words bold and italic, like I like to do in certain dialogue!

Especially in english, I like to emphasize more words in bold and italic, whereas in French, way less so. In French, it "sounds" less natural, more forced. French comics don't tend to emphasize on words the same way American comics do! And even the way we speak, I think, makes a difference when writing text and trying to make it sound natural and fluid.

Anyway... back to the story!

don't worry, it won't be all doom&gloom (it's never doom & gloom, just challenges for each character to face!) and there will be happy things in this chapter to enjoy <3

I'm taking a small break to work on the next chapter and also on another big project coming up <<

Gotta be honest, this one took a while not because of its complexity (thank god it was an easy one) (well... thank me it was an easy one :D)

no this one took a while to do because a lot has happened since that Hiveworks' Guild Statement has been publicly out, a lot has happened inside of me. Memories stirred (not particularly pleasant ones), old documents uncovered of past horrible management from Hiveworks (the start was particularly rough), and mixed feelings conflicting inside... all in all, I needed these four past days to turn the page. Live the process within me. Be proud of everything achieved, feel sad when things hurt, even if it was 13 years ago. Apparently I put a lot of it away and locked in a box, so it's coming out and needs to be faced, so I can properly finish this chapter...

and start a new one :)

(oh and this page is released on my birthday ahah!!! whaddya know!!)

Aaand, scene :)

Just a last lil' comic strip, followed by a "fun facts about bugs" page and then the chapter's officially done! Finally :D 

I'll most probably, very possibly, will take a little break inbetween chapters. Well, for you it'll be like I was on a break. On my side, it'll be time to work on the next chapter's scenario!

I know this year's been batshit in so (SO) many ways, but I hope you were able to enjoy life in some ways too. There's an abundance of horrible things happening, but there's just the same amount of wonderful people and events and solidarity happening as well. Let's make those things grow!

And whatever little tiny things can make your year better, take that too :)

(for example, this page was colored/cleaned/added text with Krita instead of Photoshop! It's been about 13 years since I've been meaning to make this change, and I finally did done it! not without sweat and tears but it's a big step I'm very proud of! My current little tiny pleasure is quitting Windows and Adobe for opensource, baby :))

Oh and, merry christmas to those who celebrate :)
